Condominium Law Group, PLLC is staffed by three attorneys:
KEN HARER has been working with community associations for more than 15 years. He offers legal assistance with contracts, construction disputes, and warranties related to the Washington Condominium Act and general legal advice on interpretation, enforcement, and modification of governing documents. Ken has himself served on a non-profit Board of Directors for more than 10 years. With an architectural and construction background, and more than 12 years planning and overseeing major repairs and renovations in both the public and private sectors, Ken brings extensive construction experience to his work. His practice, formed in 2000, provides assistance on all types of legal matters for condominium and homeowners associations. Ken earned Juris Doctor and LL.M degrees from the University of Washington as well as a MBA, a BFA in Industrial Design and a BA in Architecture.
KEVIN BRITT works with community associations on transactional matters and in resolving construction defect disputes. He also assists associations with revisions and updates to their governing documents and with the collection of delinquent assessments. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 2001 and has been an associate attorney at Condominium Law Group, PLLC since 2005. Kevin is a frequent contributor to the Community Associations Journal, a bi-monthly publication of the Washington State Chapter of the Community Associations Institute.
THERESA TORGESEN works
with community associations on both transactional matters and in
resolving construction defect disputes. She also assists condominium
associations with revisions and updates to their governing documents.
Theresa previously concentrated her practice in the areas of insurance
defense and coverage litigation, including cases involving
construction defect disputes and bad faith claims. Theresa received her
law degree in 2002 from Willamette University College of Law and her
undergraduate degree in 1997 from the University of Washington.
